Individual Counselling/Therapy

This involves a comprehensive assessment. This ensures that the help you are receiving is tailored to your needs. Assessment involves a thorough interview in which all aspects of your current situation are discussed. This may be supplemented with formal psychological testing to clarify issues further.

However, it is important that you, the client, get help immediately. Consequently, even as an evaluation of your situation is taking place, strategies are implemented in the initial session to assist you immediately.

By the end of this session, you will a clear idea of the issues that need to be addressed, and a clear idea of what can be done to resolve these issues.

Clients vary considerably in the number of sessions they may need to resolve their problems.  However, this is negotiated clearly between the therapist and client with clarity about the fees involved.
